It really takes practice to rewire your brain to think in a positive manner, versus a negative one, especially if negativity is deeply ingrained. However, practice really does make perfect in this case.

As you work to eliminate negative thoughts from your life, you will fail, and will not always be able to think in a positive manner, but the more you practice the easier it will get, as it becomes habitual, instead of a forced effort.

Begin your day with a positive affirmation; remind yourself that the day is filled with opportunities. Create an affirmation that will leave you feeling great and set you up to face your day. Make it part of your morning routine, as your mind is clear from sleep and ready to be set up for the day.

It’s helpful to repeat this process in the evening as your mind can focus on these goals subconsciously as you sleep.

One of the greatest ways to learn positivity is to spend time with optimists, as they have the amazing ability to see the silver lining behind every cloud. They are a true-life example of positive thinking and you can learn a lot by watching them in action.
